OUR CULINARY PINOT COAST
The Pinot Coast is a stunning coastal culinary destination, with independent producers, winemakers and restauranteurs across more than 50 villages.
With more Chef’s Hats than any other regional area in Victoria and only a short drive from Melbourne, our specialties include seafood, berries, truffles, cheese and, of course, its world-class Pinot Noir along with other delicious varietals.
OUR CULINARY MORNINGTON PENINSULA
With seven Chef’s Hat-awarded restaurants, local cafes and farmgates, the Mornington Peninsula is a gourmet traveller’s paradise.
You can also savour a range of local fresh, farmgate produce, even foraging for mushrooms, picking your own strawberries or crunching into just-picked apples, as well as enjoying craft beverages at our breweries and distilleries.
OUR CULINARY GEELONG
From award-winning dining to our Bellarine and Moorabool Valley Taste Trails, the Geelong region is a culinary treasure trove.
As Victoria’s second city and with our coastal location, we are home to exceptional waterfront restaurants and cafes. Our inland regions produce delicacies such as chocolate, olives, cheese and berries as well as whisky, gin, cider and locally-brewed beer, while Portarlington is the Blue Mussel capital of Australia.
Cool Maritime Pinot Noir
Our ocean’s edge position on the cool southeast maritime corner of Australia provides the ideal ripening conditions for the delicate, seductive Pinot Noir grape; producing a fresh, pristine, diverse, layered, subtle and complex Pinot.
RAW AND SPECTACULAR SOUTHERN COASTLINE
We are home to around 750kms of cool, southern coastal wilderness, national parks, cold water surf icons, windswept beaches and bountiful bays.
Diverse array of Maritime and Aquatic Experiences
Across the Pinot Coast, maritime and aquatic experiences range from iconic surf beaches to refreshing inland lakes to beautiful, peaceful bays.
The Pinot Coast project would not be possible without the generous support of Wine Australia, the Victorian Government and our wider sector partners. It is part of the Australian Government’s $50 million Export and Regional Wine Support Package and the Victorian Government’s Wine Industry Development Strategy funding.
