OUR ACTIVE COAST
The Pinot Coast offers the chance to enjoy a range of fresh, fun and invigorating marine activities.
From surfing the iconic cold water beaches of Bells Beach and Torquay in the Geelong region, to snorkeling and scuba diving in Port Phillip Marine National Park, and kayaking, fishing and boating across the whole Coast, our region is a marine adventureland.
OUR RELAXING COAST
Relax on our Pinot Coast waterways, with a range of boating and sailing experiences or even a dip with our local marine life.
Take in the stunning views from the Mornington Peninsula’s Western Port Ferries or Port Phillip Bay’s Searoad Ferries, charter your own yacht or catamaran, or head out on a guided tour through our many bays and beaches. You can even swim with seals and dolphins, or just watch them pass by on one of our marine life cruises.
OUR INDULGENT COAST
The Pinot Coast offers an indulgent experience infused with the reviving spirit of our cool, southern coast.
From the healing waters of the Peninsula Hot Springs at the Mornington Peninsula, to wellness and spa retreats across all our regions, everyone can afford to connect and rejuvenate.
Cool Maritime Pinot Noir
Our ocean’s edge position on the cool southeast maritime corner of Australia provides the ideal ripening conditions for the delicate, seductive Pinot Noir grape; producing a fresh, pristine, diverse, layered, subtle and complex Pinot.
RAW AND SPECTACULAR SOUTHERN COASTLINE
We are home to around 750kms of cool, southern coastal wilderness, national parks, cold water surf icons, windswept beaches and bountiful bays.
Well regarded Fresh food and Wine Artisans
The Pinot Coast is a well regarded culinary area, home to independent producers who put their own artisanal touch on food, wine, cellar doors, restaurants and cafes.
The Pinot Coast project would not be possible without the generous support of Wine Australia, the Victorian Government and our wider sector partners. It is part of the Australian Government’s $50 million Export and Regional Wine Support Package and the Victorian Government’s Wine Industry Development Strategy funding.
